Our cattery is located in Modena, a small city
well known for “tortellini” a kind of pasta, salami, sports cars, Ferrari,
Maserati and many other local specialities. The cat is a free spirit, if
he loves you he doesn’t have hidden purposes, doesn’t fix limits, he loves you
without asking, please love him for his being.
Cats
came into our lives in 1980. Duchessa, a white female, that with her sweet
temperament stole our hearts, was the first and with her we started our
adventure in the magical, stealthy pawed world of cats.
We sent for Black Flower, a fantastic black male
from Canada with a great personality, to keep her company. He gave us great joy,
he was the first European Champion in Italy (18 Best of Best during his career)
We have given his name to all of our cats,……thank
you magnificent Black Flower alias Fiore Nero.
Our cats live free in our home with us, each one
has it’s own place to sleep during the day, they play together and with us too,
but their favourite activity is to laze on the sofa or better yet in our bed
with us. They are very affectionate and fill our lives with their love and joie
de vivre.
People who come visit us are greeted by the
“welcoming committee”, a group of our cheekiest female cats always looking for a
cuddle, pat or scratch under the chin. Some are quite brazen others a bit more
reserved but their goal is the same. After the humans have stopped all their
din, our shyest pop out too and the full immersion in the world of cats
begins.
Our cats are Persians (longhaired) and Exotics
(shorthaired), their blood lines are American from the best USA Catteries. We
have selected our cats not only for their beauty and purity of breed but mainly
for their temperament, which in breed standards is not considered, but for us is
very important. Our cats are cuddled and love to be cuddled, robust and
lively,…a book wouldn’t be enough to describe them…. !!
